We took Owen & Bonkers down to Cherry Beach today to cool off and go for a swim in the lake.
But first we headed over to Cosmopawlitan Pet Boutique+ Spa to pick up a life jacket for Owen. It was his first time swimming so we wanted to make sure he was safe out there. With the help of the staff we found this great jacket by Outward Hound.
After we left Cosmo we headed straight to the beach, Owen was excited to test out his new jacket!
It took some encouragement but soon enough Owen was out in the water hanging out with the rest of the dogs.
The handle on the life jacket was a nice feature, you can use it to help guide the dog along in the water.
Bonkers is a pro swimmer, he was out in the water the whole time we were at the beach.
Two thumbs up from Owen, he says he wants to come back next week!
You never know who your going to run into at the dog beach. Today we saw Lexi and her parents as we were heading back to the car.
It was a great day at the beach and both Bonkers & Owen are ready for a long nap!
