Newborn Puppies by Traer Scott

Photographer Traer Scott, once profiled for her moving series on Shelter Dogs, just came out with a new book that’s guaranteed to warm your heart. You don’t have to be a dog lover to appreciate Newborn Puppies, a book filled with 75 color and black-and-white photos of puppies from one to 21-days-old. What do those first moments look like when they’re opening their eyes and peering out into the real world?
These adorable photos feature a wide range of breeds and types from champion puppies to shelter strays. Newborn Puppies is now available at Chronicle Books.

Doberman Pinscher for Adoption! (Toronto)

BREAKING NEWS!
I just received special insider news that this beautiful Doberman Pinscher boy just showed up at Toronto Animal Services, SOUTH (at the Horse Palace – CNE Ground).
He was found as a stray, so not a lot is known about this sweet boy. He’s approx 2 years of age, and extremely friendly. He’s already been pegged a very lovely and playful boy. He’s also extremely friendly! Very, very, very lovely – playful dog! Loves other dogs!
He just got neutered, but will be up for adoption in the next few days. If you’re interested in meeting this handsome man, please contact the shelter to arrange a visit with him.
